the XX : islands

it's been too long since i posted anything! hope this blog isn't dying.
it's also been a while since i managed to get ahold of any good new music - sucks when your office doesn't allow people to play a radio in the background while you work.. how does one share each other's musical tastes to others, and vice versa?

anyway, was at hmv a couple of weeks ago hoping to find a good cd. i saw this band's debut album on the shelves - a simple b&w cover : black background, and a big white X. for some strange reason, the simplicity of it caught my eye. took the cd to have a listen and bam! bought it.

so far the tracks on this cd are great! nice, simple, raw and chill, yet with nice beats to bob your head too. this is one of the songs that's on repeat in my ipod now. hope you guys enjoy it!
